Summary

Beginning in June of 2017, ALS was requested by an Operator in SE Asia to provide support as ESP Subject Matter Experts (SME’s). The support provided is an all-encompassing advisory, analytical, and operational role, with integrated involvement in the office and in the field. Two consultants rotate on a monthly basis, offering ongoing, technical support for development and optimization of ESP operations.

Description of Work

  • ESP SME support

  • Day to day contract support

  • ESP technical and commercial support in the office and field

  • Failure analysis

  • Inventory management

  • Ongoing support and trouble shooting

  • Training of field and office personnel

  • Procedural and best practice development

  • Interaction with Suppliers and Service Companies on behalf of Operator

Results

Day to day technical and commercial support is provided. ALS has been able to assist with a wide range of issues, including, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring of ESP installations and implementation of improvements

  • Troubleshooting issues that arise and resolving quickly

  • Evaluation and implementation of new technologies seamlessly for enhanced performance

  • Performing failure analysis to understand and resolve root causes

  • Preparing contracts and reviewing with the client

  • Field development planning

  • Optimizing ESP performance

  • Minimizing HSE incidents through best practices
