MARGARITA LILAYSROMANT


Margarita Lilaysromant graduated in 2007 with a Masters in Electrical Engineering from St. Petersberg Polytechnic University in Russia. After graduation Margarita joined Schlumberger Artificial Lift as a field engineer assigned to Oman. In 2010 Margarita was assigned to the North Sea where she worked as an ESP DESC Engineer and ESP & Gas Lift Applications Engineer handling various client accounts and major Artificial Lift projects. Margarita is currently studying full time for an MSc in Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt Malaysia.

Artificial Lift Engineer, Artificial Lift Services, Electric Submersible Pump (ESP)

Seconded to Fairfield Energy’s office to assist with daily ESP operations. Responsibilities included:

  • Assisting production engineering team with production optimization and advice on optimization of ESP systems.
  • Daily ESP well performance monitoring using PI Processbook.
  • Providing daily support on ESP well and topsides problems, including downhole tubing accessories, wellhead/tree, flowline, choke, production well testing and surface electrical issues.
  • Improving ESP runlife by implementing a number of initiatives, including tailored start up procedures, ESP optimization tracker, and ESP shutdown/trip event log for continuity.
  • ESP system design and providing advice on ESP well design to customer.
  • Writing basis of design and commissioning procedures.
  • Planning routine maintenance and repairs to coincide with planned production outages.

  • Gas lift system design.
