Overview
ALS is presently monitoring approximately 150 ESP wells across several operators 24-7. ESPs from 5 different service companies are being independently monitored and daily events are being tracked. ALS has remote monitoring engineers positioned in the US, UK, Middle East and South East Asia giving optimal cover through all time zones.
Equipment Review
A full equipment review is undertaken where ALS will review the well operating conditions and limits of equipment installed and identify optimization opportunities.
Monitoring Workflow
ALS have adopted a monitoring by exception approach to remote monitoring which includes regular alarm reviews. Monitoring by exception approach also allows ALS to keep costs down on monitoring.
Event Recording and Analytics
ALS record every event during monitoring which gives our customers a useful set of data for each well. The data captured can be used to identify problem wells or wells with recurring issues that might not have otherwise been noticed. For customers using our Dismantle Inspection & Failure Analysis (DIFA) services we now capture much more data which is extremely helpful during the DIFA process in relating failures to ESP operation if applicable.
