System Integration Testing (SIT) is carried out to ensure all equipment can be assembled as it would be at site and tested according to the specified requirements in the quality plan. The SIT gives an opportunity to identify and rectify any problems prior to shipping. ALS was requested to be present for the oversighting of the SIT on behalf of the operator. Successful and timely execution of the SIT was completed. Specific improvements made by ALS are demonstrated here.

ALS was requested to provide detailed inspections of ESP manufacturing processes for a Houston-based Operator.

ALS has been supporting a technology company to introduce a new deployment method for their downhole equipment for gas wells. The equipment has traditionally been deployed on tubing and in order to make it more accessible and cost effective the company have decided to make their product installation work without need for a rig.

ALS is presently monitoring approximately 150 ESP wells across several operators 24-7. ESPs from 5 different service companies are being independently monitored and daily events are being tracked.

ALS was initially brought in to assist with preparation of a technical ITB document for a wireline retrievable ESP project. Since the project has moved into the planning and procurement phase ALS has been assisting with manufacturing inspections and site integration test planning.

A North Sea operator approached ALS with the request for a feasibility study into rigless/through tubing ESP deployment.

ALS was requested to conduct a study on different forms of ESP deployments to assess the best option for the field, with a specific focus on evaluating wireline retrievable ESP systems (WRESPs).
